Shiny and Bright

I need a little bit of inspiration to get started on my holiday decorating this weekend. Country Living always has beautiful ideas. Here's a few that might inspire you too.

This reminds me of my mom's collection of vintage ornaments. I love seeing them on her tree every year. I started collecting German glass ornaments the year I got married so my collection is growing too but no where near the size of my mom's.

Have a lovely weekend.

Love the pictures!
I tried to comment on your last post, but couldn't find the comments-link..? I just wanted to say I had been wondering where you had gone to, and was happy to see you back blogging :)
And I understand completely about hibernating in winter. We skip on the rush as well, and focus on making fires, baking, reading, watching movies, drinking glögg and cuddling. (Though we kinda always do that... ;))

hi, Anna! Glad you finally turning to a Christmas/winter mood:) Your pictures look awesome... we have many of such glass ornaments in my parent's home. I used to like to hang them on the tree so much! Your pictures brought back all those feelings to me. I am trying to decorate my house in India now with crochet snowflakes and stars. Will put up a small tree soon too.
Take care and have a nice day! Anna

Christmas is defianatly coming soon. We finally got some snow, only about a half an inch but it feels more like the holiday. Would love to see more of your ornaments.

Nice photos.

As always, your blog is the most beautiful place to be early in the morn. :)

Love what they did with that top photo-the tiered silver dishes.

And the ornament box! Who, of a certain age, doesn't remember those beauties? And the box and metal hangers! Brings back memories.......

Have a lovely and inspired day!

I love Country Living decorating ideas for Christmas. I have always wanted to have angel wings on my chairs but with three cats they would not be there for very long.

Love the wing decorations on the chairs! I just dragged out my holiday ornaments today. Now they will sit in a box in the living room for a week or so until I finally get around to putting them up :)
